Video and audio don't work?

1. Check your internet connection and try again..
2. Make sure your camera is not closed or turned off.

Turn on your camera in the system settings or by using a camera shutter on your keyboard.

3. Configure your camera privacy settings.

For Windows 10:

- Select Start

- Settings

- Privacy

- Camera

In Allow access to the camera on this device, select Change and make sure Camera access for this device is turned on. In Camera settings, go to Allow apps to access your camera and make sure the browser you are using to broadcast is allowed.

For Mac:

- System Preferences

- Security & Privacy > Privacy. Select Camera

Select the checkbox next to the browser you are using to broadcast..

4. Check camera access in your browser.

Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Click Camera or Microphone >Turn off Ask before accessing or choose Allow when camera access message prompted.

5. Make sure no other app is using your camera now.

Check all the opened apps and tabs(Skype, FaceTime, WhatsApp etc) and close the one that was using your camera.

6. Check for your browser updates.

We recommend using Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, or Yandex. Open Settings > About browser,check for updates and install them if needed.

7. Try temporarily disable your antivirus software or browser extensions like Adblock

Check if your camera works when your antivirus software is turned off. If that’s the case you need to open your antivirus software settings and add https://pruffme.com as an exception or grant a permission for https://pruffme.com to use the camera.

8. Check for OS updates.

Make sure you are not using an outdated version which doesn’t support the latest updates for your browser.

9. Grant special permissions if you are using a corporate network.

In case if you use a corporate network, you have to ask your system administrator to open the following ports: 80, 443 and make sure UDP is permitted for.

- https://pruffmelab.com

- https://pruffmelab-a.akamaihd.net

- https://pruffme.hb.bizmrg.com

Allow UDP-traffic for all the servers from the list: https://pruffme.com/webinar/servers and allow TCP-traffic for all the ports from 10000 to 65535 from the same list.
